Monthly, I received magazines from Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and more. The reason why I chose to do this look in specific it's because for one, Megan Fox is hot, number two, its wearable and can be intensified, and three? ..well I felt like with my red hair, I could pull it off. Hola guys! So this video that's being posted is my first official review. I've had these for a couple of months just never got around to talking about it. In the video I gave my opinion on the visual aspect, such as packaging, marketing, and price. As well as describing and COMPARING to MAC Paint Pots, Makeup Forever Aqua Creams and Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows! I love name brands but sometimes you can find a better deal and for even a BETTER quality in a drugstore brand.
A round of applause Maybelline for the color selection chosen for this product. A fantastic mix of neutrals/brights and mattes/frosts are available. Additionally, some of these colors are ones that haven't seen in the more popular cream eyeshadow lines (MAC, Benefit, MUFE).
I was very picky about the formulation, or "feel", of cream
eyeshadows. MAC Paint Pots are a "best" seller because they are thick in
consistency, almost like a concealer. For that reason, I was thrilled
when I began playing with these and realized they feel EXACTLY the same as the MAC Paint Pots on my skin. They're thicker in consistency than the Makeup Forever Aqua Creams and Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadows! They're also very pigmented and creamy... they don't feel dry or "plastic-y"! We all love that :)
DUN DUN DUN , moment of truth! how do they wear? AMAZINGLY. I was shocked! I use this as a primer for my eyeshadow with NOTHING else underneath it, and my eyeshadow stays completely vibrant
and crease free all day (10+ hours). Personally, this is a truly amazing product and its WORTH IT! -xoxo
Some have requested a foundation video and what I used and how I used products to achieve a flawless face. The great thing about it i don't have to spend no more than $15 in total for the same face high end makeup can result in. I have dry skin, so I dont set it with a powder. Usually when I set it, I ALWAYS use Urban Decay Setting Spray :) .. Enjoy! -xoxo
Majority of the times drugstores do not have someone that can only assist in beauty AND know about it, unlike high end. So to buy a foundation first try to determine your skin TYPE (dry, combination, oily) .. after that you can usually narrow down certain brands. What type of coverage to you want? (Light, Heavy, Build-able) .. Then Lastly your shade (all depends on your skin-tone)

I've been growing out my nails and filing them frequently. I took off a dark nail polish i had on and i wanted something more delicate. This nail polish from the brand "Brash" sold at Payless!!! It was a gift but I've never seen a color like this. Personally, i don't think the picture does it justice at all. the quality of the polish is thick, opaque, and so far durable. The color is a mixture of lavender with a gun metal .. metallic color, I LOVE IT!. it makes me hands look polished :) -xoxo

So this weekend I wanted to record MY makeup essentials, and what are the products that i need at all times. Unfortunately due to lighting or just rambling both times I recorded it, Im gonna have to record it tmrw. I have to get my thoughts together so i dont stutter LOL. Hola guys! Lately, I've been thinking about how all my makeup brushes arent the same colors, style, and mostly the same brand. I may be it bit anal but I couldn't deal with it any longer. I went to Walmart and purchased a Leopard Print duct tape for about $4. I taped all my brushes and I personally love the finish product.
I must say that "curved" brushes are a bit more difficult to tape just because the tape doesn't mold well around the barrel. Other than that check out the video and pictures below for a closer look!

There's currently a tornado warning and i am upstairs writing this blog. I wanna thank everyone that wished me a Happy Birthday. i truly appreciate the few seconds the people took out just to congratulate me on turning 21. Ive got everything i need by my side, and im happy of where i've come. Now all there is to do is improve myself and enjoy my life and strive to be successful. i thank everyone, my parents and specially God for allowing me to see this day. Thanks again -xoxo

So this is another polish I received for Christmas! I had to try it out and it's amazing! I gave the neon a rest and wanted a quick change, and BOY DO I LOVE DARK POLISHES! Makes my hands and feet look nice and clean and well taken care of! Wonder what polish I'll wear tmrw! :p -xoxo

Ok we all know that spring is coming and how much a hint of a summer glow looks amazing! Not everyone has the time or money to go to a tannin salon, or if there is one near them. In my situation, it's hard to find a tanning salon near by where I don't have to drive an hour to pay for a tan and use up gas. A excellent secret that I've been using for a while and been complimented on is my ... Dun dun dun... My banana boat self tanning lotion in deep dark color! Honestly, this is an amazing product overall, don't streak, doesnt smell weird, long lasting and definitely doesn't make you look like you rolled around in a bag of Doritos! Lol even now in mid January, here down south it's reaching upper 70's so I've started my transition into my summer glow :) this product can be found in drugstores, Walmart, and Target. -xoxo
So about two weeks ago i purchased two Maybelline Baby Lips lip balms. I first heard of it on YouTube of course, and then i started seeing advertisements and i definitely wanted to see what all the hype was about. So for Christmas I received two of these nailpolishes. I didn't think much of it since the brand did not seem familiar, I set it aside and just let it sit there. Yesterday I thought, I need to paint my hands and toes... Hmm what color? Since spring fashion is coming and bold colors are gonna be in I decided to give it a try. The color is a bit red orange mixed w. a peachy tint, so a neon coral color! And I have it on and I LOVE IT! It makes my hands look lighter but tanned at the same time. My toes?! Impeccable! Lol. I applied two coats, and use my Sally Hansen diamond strength no chip nail color clear coat and Voo-ala! It hasn't chip yet, but if it didn't I wouldn't care cause I have a second bottle :) I think this will be my color for the next few weeks and perhaps springtime! -xoxo
So it was a request on what i use for my face, and how i keep it "flawless." .. In this video i just talk about three products i used and how simple it is. **THIS IS NOT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES, THIS IS WHAT I DO** I do have DRY skin all year round so i have to make sure to always moisturize and to be careful to not remove the natural oils my skin produces. So I had a rude awakening this morning .. Tornado Warning in my area! Some of the things I grabbed and brought downstairs to my "tornado safe" closet were: my ferret, my dog, important document, pet foods, myself an my sephora makeup kit. I locked myself in there and tried to remain calm and do my makeup. Instead of bring a bunch of crap, this was the most compact item I had. I did a simple neutral eye, winged my liquid eyeliner, and a "red" lip. That was it! .. Now that everything has settled and the warning is off and so far there's no harm coming my way, off to start my day! :) xoxo

So last week i drove 1.5 hour to Target to purchase Elf blushes BUT that Target didnt even carry Elf! So i looked around and purchased other products that I've been dying to try out :) .. So far i am LOVING the Milani Nail Polishes and the Milani Baked Blush in 05 Luminoso! -- xoxo!

So idk how to feel about the 'watch me get ready' videos. Not sure if my viewers/subbies/friends are enjoying them or if i should just turn them into a "break-down" tutorial. These videos become easy for me to record since its usually right before i leave the house, and on editing its just speeding it up and doing a voice over.
I am really trying to stick by this hobby and pull through, so i've decided to upload videos EVERY tuesdays AND thursdays! Two videos a week as a start, which i dont think is bad. I truly love doing these videos, not only because i get to play with makeup but its nice because (as i speak for myself) it makes me feel better about myself. I feel like I am doing something i like and gives me a bit of confidence due to my motivation :) ..
Friends are interested in doing videos and i support them and definitely encourage them. I dont see it as a competition at all, if they have interest in beauty stuff, why not? I learn every day on new looks and tips and tricks that i try to master, cause i myself am no "guru" .. i DONT know every little thing in the book, but with the little i know i hope people can appreciate that! I'm willing to learn, and i hope others are able to share any knowledge that can help us become better! :) -- xoxo
